An Uncivil Cold Civil War

There is trouble around  the world, caused by hot, cold and tariff wars.  In Canada we have a fierce Cold Civil War now unfolding in the streets, the pubs and the Mass-Media of the Nation, it being the General Election set to crescendo on April 28.  Then we will learn which PoParty (=Political Party) boss will make the Laws that will “Rule Canada” in lieu of being governed by Democratia.

Elections are PoParty wars cleverly camouflaged to appear being a democratic process, thereby fooling the public to relax, endure them and forego the pursuit of freedom.

Characteristically, in the last World Cold War, agents of the “Free World” staged fake elections to “prove” that our Free World dictators were misunderstood freedom lovers. But at home Mulroney proclaimed our MPs “trained seals”, while Trudeau called them “nobodies” and fuddle-duddle them. In effect, elections are meant to obfuscate the suppression of democratia.

The “House of Commons” shelters all the  Election War “winners” but divides them into those who govern and those who oppose the governing, this being innately stupid.
Indeed, the whole thing is fake, given that the governing is done by the PMO on behalf of its hidden masters.  Because of that reality, society is deprived of the benefit from its “Best”, who are appalled by the prospect of being “Whipped” to uphold the PoParty line. Many deem politics “dirty” and keep their distance lest they be contaminated.  Their absence from the political stage being a great loss for the whole society.
In an election war each and all the PoParties are “aggressors”, suitors of Power, rather than “enemy-killers”, per se.  Their ordnance is “propaganda” which they buy from professional mind-manipulators.

But elections are meant to be a process by which citizens select “representatives” to manage the affairs of the society that need be managed collectively.  Good management of public affairs is a common desire of all sane citizens so its pursuit is a common enterprise. Hence there is no dichotomy to breed War.  This suggests that the system they sell us as “democracy” is really mislabeled “party-o-cracy”.  The powers to be break down the society into opposing factions, ready to jump on each other’s necks like cocks bred for the cock-pit instead of raised for “cock-pots”.

In effect, the raison d’être of the PoParties, is to neuter Democratia by cleverly deploying the divide-and-rule dirty trick.  This results in a faction subjugating the whole society, which really is what Democratia exists to prevent.

Exploiting the stability of pairs, e.g. God & Devil, Gladiator & Lion, Toreador & Bull, the PoParties divide the society so as to rule it.  In simple words, we are driven to side with either the gladiator or the lion and avert considering the option of re-purposing  the arena into a playground.  We are now well conditioned to “electing” a gang to rule us instead of selecting a group of free minds to analyse problems and synthesize solutions.
The “House of Commons” appellation is confusing on purpose.  The designation “Member of Parliament”, “MP”, while technically correct, is substantively deceptive, this purposely too. According to OED (Oxford English Dictionary):

“parliament > consists of the Sovereign, the House of Lords, and the House of Commons”.

In Canada , due to the shortage of lords, we substitute the “Senate”.  In either instance  the House of Commons is the lower stratum of the power pyramid.  The MPs “our representatives” fake legislating the Laws and since Democracy is the “Rule of Law”, presto, we the people “learn” that we govern ourselves!

Well, No!  Good servants anticipate the wishes of their masters.  “Our” MPs would never do what may conceivably displease the Senate or the Sovereign.  Were the MPs to prevail over their superiors, the Senate and the King, it would be tantamount to the tail wagging the dog.  It is all a mighty myth but one fitted with a rich feeding trough to attract people to work the “system”.

The OED is “honest” about this: they use “Democracy” in lieu of Democratia, which they cleverly “define” as:

democracy > a form of government in which the people have a voice in the exercise of power, typically through elected representatives”.

To “have a voice in the exercise of power”,  whatever it may be, democratia it ain’t. In contrast, Larousse, the French counterpart to OED, translate the word honestly:

Democratie: gouvernemant oú le peuple exerce souvereineté”.

Which is precisely how the Greeks defined it. “Democracy” is intentionally deceptive, the transgression revealing the length persuaders go to deceive the people.

This paper would be lame without a word about the sugar-daddy trap.  It kicks in the moment someone considers running for MP and hits their dignity.  Refusal to surrender, defeats aspiring MP on the spot.  After surrender, the candidate must suppress his conscience and deliver his tongue to the PoParty “Whips”.  This renders the aspiring MPs into the white dog listening to “His Master’s Voice” in the classic RCA ad.

Well, let me say it this way: I love PoParties.   So much so, that I want one for each MP. Imagine the glory of a Parliament with 338 PoParty-Leaders and not a single “Trained Seal”, each MP commanding his/her own undivided Conscience.  Wouldn’t that be lovely?
